Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1943. In 1973 won the National Endowment for the Arts, Photographers' Fellowship. In 2005 won the International Photography Lucie Award, Achievement in Documentary Photography. Lives and works in New York, NY and Los Angeles, CA.
