Margaret Curtis

Margaret Curtis was born in Hamilton, Bermuda and has degrees from Duke University in Durham, NC, as well as the Atlanta College of Art in Atlanta, GA. Her work often takes shape as drawings or paintings using any number of multiple mediums in one work. She has also made sculptures that explore the same feminist-based themes that often appear in her two-dimensional work. Curtis’s work has been written about in Art Forum, Art in America, The New York Times, Modern Painters, and many others as well as being exhibited at The Brooklyn Museum, The Andy Warhol Museum, The Huntington Beach Art Center, The Mint Museum, The Wexner Center, and P.P.O.W. Gallery in NYC, which represented her for many years.
