The elegant proportions of Curled Around from the Slipping Stones series seemingly captures a frozen moment of motion. Despite its assembled appearance, Curled Around is made by cutting away at a single piece of wood. A collector of craft and founder of the organization Collectors of Wood Art, Horn continually challenges viewers’ understanding of wholeness and artifice.
