Recto: "Wednesday Nite / Lorna B. / Thank you thank you thank you thank you - Willis thanks Lorna B. / for the easter egg [unsure] - thank you for making me so happy - you are / a Devil (little me) - thank you / Asawa and I are the only ones so far who have eaten any of it - tastes / awfully good / will be in N.Y.C. late Friday nite or Saturday afternoon - all / Depends on whether I stop over Friday nite in Philly to visit a / textile mill Saturday morning - in case I do then I'll / take the noon train to N.Y.C. & we can have Dinner / together - otherwise lunch & Dinner - will be good to see you - / Peggy Bennett who has written a Book just published called / 'the Varmints' is here working in the office 8 hours a Day - (afternoons) / [unsure] a novel in the mornings - awfully nice person - / a friend of Patsy & De_ _ _? - But Peggy is worn out from trying / to do both - she leaves for good the 12th of April - / Makes me a little sick that one of the few or only creative / people around here works in an imagined (or otherwise) / office - She goes to New York for awhile [unsure] you would / like to meet her - very quiet shy - needs real friends - / I've been decorating again for a party Friday nite - and I / shouldn't because of all the work I should Do - / good nite Lorna B - thank you For the egg - / goodnite Fussey / it snowed today / now it has almost melted / it moistened Asawa & my seed / lettuce & radish seed in Albers garden / unplanted 6 rows lettuce / 6 rows radishes - white & red".
