FACULTY MEETING BULLETIN
Monday, February 9, 1942
I. Announcements:
1. There will be a brief meeting of the faculty this afternoon at 1:15 o’clock in the Kocher Room to consider a recommendation made by the Board of Fellows:
That we have at Lake Eden a work camp beginning the second week in June and running to the middle of July
That we follow the work camp with a six-week summer school
2. There will be a meeting of the faculty this evening at 6:45 o’clock in the Kocher Room, chiefly to complete the report on the fall-term work of the students
3. Ted Dreier will leave this afternoon for New York City on a business trip for the College
4. There will be a Valentine Party and Dance in the dining hall on Saturday evening. John Evarts may be back
5. The next Black Mountain College Sunday radio program will be given by Ruthabeth Krueger and Trudi Straus, accompanied by Dr Jalowetz. They will play: The Golden Sonata for two violins by Purcell, Sonata in B fist for two violins by Handl, and Largo and Gigue for two violins by Bach
