BLACK MOUNTAIN COLLEGE COMMUNITY BULLETIN
Monday March 16, 1942

Announcements:
1 There will be a short general meeting in the dining hall at 7:00 this evening, for hearing committee reports. Sam Brown will act as chairman of the meeting.
2 The faculty will meet in the Kocher room at 7:30 o’clock.
3 The new faculty secretary is Miss Janet Rees, of Fletcher, North Carolina.
4 Ted Dreier and his parents, Mr and Mrs HE Drier, will arrive on Tuesday morning. His parents will visit for several days.
5 Paul Radin’s new book, Indians of South America, will be published March 20 by Doubleday, Doran.
6 The presentation of “Suppressed Desires”, postponed from last week because of the regional dramatic festival, will be given on Saturday evening, March 21, in the Dining Hall. The scenery has been designed and will be built by Peter Jopsen.
7 The next Black Mountain College radio broadcast will be an adaptation of “Suppressed Desires”, or a presentation of one of the radio plays of the Free Company.

Alumni Notes
1 Phyllis Josephs is not working at Sharpo and Dohmo’s, a large company in Philadelphia that produces “biologicals and pharmaceuticals”.
2 Fred Stone is working as a professional photographer in New York City. His address is 327 West 11th Street.

Agenda for Faculty Meeting
1 Reports of committees on oral examinations of the students taking examinations for entrance to the senior division.
2 Discussions about admissions to the senior division.
3 Reports of advisers on the examinations of their advisors who took senior division examinations for practice.
