CALENDAR
The faculty and student officers will meet this afternoon at 5:00 o’clock in the Kocher Room.
On Thursday night there will be wine for all at 6:00 o’clock in the lobby of North Lodge. Supper will be at 6:30 o’clock in the Dining Hall, after which there will be dancing and a surprise program.
At the Sunday evening meeting of the Social Study Group, Frances Foster and Herbert Oppenheimer will talk about Abraham Lincoln’s plans for Post Civil War Reconstruction in the South. The meeting will be held in Frances de Graaff’s study, beginning at 7:00 o’clock.
Dr. Strauss will address the College Community on Wednesday evening, December 2, at 8:00 o’clock in the Dining Hall on “Aesthesiology: The Psychology of the Senses.”

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Gorman Mattison will address the Black Mountain Lion’s Club on Thursday evening on “Home Insulation.”

REPORTS AND RECCOMENDATIONS
Pete Hill present a plan for organizing students into a forest-fire-fighting unit.
Jack Lipsey will discuss the problem of employment in the kitchen.

FOR DISCUSSION AT FACULTY MEETING
Hitch-hiking by Black Mountain College girls.
The Asheville College plan for “A Self-Study of Western North Carolina Colleges.”
The proposed 1943 summer conference of the Textile Workers.
Completion of the Fall Quarter class enrollment.
The request of Mendez Marks for anecdotal material on Black Mountain College.
