CALENDAR
The faculty and the student officers will meet at 4:30 o’clock this afternoon in the Kocher Room.
Carrell’s “Shadow and Substance” will be presented on Friday evening, December 11, at 8:30 o’clock in the Dining Hall Visitors have been invited for the performance.
Because of illness, Miss Yella Pessl has had to postpone her visit to Black Mountain College indefinitely.
The first 1942-43 broadcast program of Black Mountain College will be given on Sunday evening, January 10, at 7:15 o’clock from station WWNC.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Photographers from the pictorial magazine Click will arrive tomorrow or Friday to take a series of photographs of the College activities.
Each student should take home with him during the holidays a College analogue and other publicity material on the school.
Rehearsals for Edith Wharton’s “Ethan Frome” and Masterlinck’s “The Blue Bird” will begin immediately after Christmas
The Board of Fellows is now trying to select a teacher of history and a teacher of sociology and economics from the many candidates now under consideration
The Board of Fellows announces the appointment to the staff of Robert Orr, recently senior accountant of the Elmhurst Construction Company on Long Island, as assistant business manager to succeed Morton Steinau.

Opening date of winter term; to avoid week-end travelling.
Announcements to be made concerning return of students and taxi service from train or bus to the College.

ALUMNI NOTES
Maud Dabbs is now apprenticing under the present music teacher at the Bancroft School in Worchester, Massachusetts. After the holidays she will take this teacher’s place and have charge of appreciation classes, a glee club, and elementary work with the lower grades. Her address is: 9 West Land Street, Worchester, Massachusetts.
Frances Kuntz recently designed and executed the scenery for a revival on November 25 of Moliere’s comedy. “The School for Husbands,” at the Department of Drama at Yale University, where she is now studying stage design.
Rudy Hasse is now studying architecture at the University of Michigan. His address is 129 Tyler House, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Hyalle Yamins, now Mes. Lee Gree, is living at North New Braunfels, San Antonio, Texas, with her husband, who has been transferred from Camp Lee in Virginia to Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
