New Addresses:
Lt (jg) Nancy Farrell 1713 Rhode Island Avenue, NW Washington 6, DC
In the Mail:
Sergeant John Stix writes from Germany on May 19: “I’ve seen it all. And I was impressed almost less by the actual sight of the atrocities than by the utter lack of shame on the part of the Germans. They've known of these crimes; it’s known and proven that they’re known. But their one concern seems always to be the fate of their furniture. To Ohrdruf, Buchenwald, and Dachau they are inhumanly oblivious....No telling when we’ll hit the States. Perhaps this summer, perhaps next. I do hope it’s soon. I’d like nothing better than a peep at the Institutes..”
