Description

7p, mimeograph on matte off white paper, onesided pages, 21 horizontal folds, staple in top left corner; Envelope printed on the back side of the last page. The bulletin was mailed to Mr and Mrs Theodore Dreier in Cambridge, Mass. New and old students arrived on Sep 28. Final Registration on Oct 5. There were 30 courses offered by 16 teachers to 60 students. Among the students, 28 attended the college before, 4 have graduate standing, 5 attended the summer institutes, 16 transferred from other colleges; 4 were veterans. A Report on the Summer Institutes starts from page 1-3. Announces that the College had had the official approval of the Division of Professional Service of the Department of Public Instruction of the State of North Carolina to accept Veterans uner the GI BILL OF RIGHTS for all work in the junior Division and advanced work in the fields of art, music, social studies, English and Mathematics. A list of the Additions to the Faculty, 1945-46 Session was attached as the 7th and 8th pages. Additions to the Faculty, 1945-46 Session: Percy Hayes Baker, Albert W. Levi Elliott Merrick Mary Caroline Richards Robert Walcott, Jr John Louis Wallen George Zabriskie, Margaret and Paul Beidler will not be on the teaching staff this year
