Description

Large clear square prism (cube) of three hands embracing. The adult hands are covering the child's clenched hand inside. The hands are John Littleton and his daughter's.

These hand castings are part of the Clarity Imprisoned series (1989-2001). The Eternal Cycle is the exploration of the artist's relationship to their young child and the ongoing cycle of both protecting and letting go.
