Description

Large clear square prism (cube) of two hands embracing. The adult hand is open with the child's clenched hand coming up out of the adult hand. The hands are John Littleton and his daughter's.

These hand castings are part of the Clarity Imprisoned series (1989-2001). The Eternal Cycle is the exploration of the artist's relationship to their young child and the ongoing cycle of both protecting and letting go.
